Job Objective:

Tech Lead is responsible for the development and ownership for building robust, scalable, high-traffic software applications used by millions of users world-wide by curating the structure of server side information and writing server scripts, API's to be utilized by front end engineers and UX designers.

Job Description:

● Be responsible for requirement analysis and identification of solutions, system testing, and ownership till deployment.

● Develop deep understanding of the application ecosystem and be responsible for impact analysis, problem-solving and performance optimization of the code.

● Identify and proactively come up with solutions to address complex issues and enhance the scalability of the systems

● Ownership of multiple module delivery while steering and breaking problems into smaller modules with an understanding of constraints to arrive at the optimal solution.

● Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver products in an agile environment.

● Responsible for peer and junior level review of code and ensure sharing of best practices within the team and on various platforms.

Required Skills:

● Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms with strong analytical skills.

● Must have exposure in large scale deployment

● Expertise in NodeJS/Java-based microservices & system design architecture with Spring / Spring boot frameworks.

● Thorough understanding of Java Memory Management, Garbage Collection, Multithreading, Immutability & concurrency programming.

● Good understanding of SQL OR NoSQL databases. (e.g. MySql, MongoDB, Cassandra).

Desired Skills:

● Ability to drive design and architecture of multiple subsystems.

● Able to break complex projects into modules and propose effective solutions in view of capabilities of existing platforms and infrastructure.

● Understanding of distributed technology stacks like Apache Tomcat, Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), Caching ( Redis, aerospike, memcache etc.)
